Alloy 20 Pipes

The presence of niobium resists intergranular corrosion and potential saving than other steel grades. Alloy 20 can be heat treated, and cold worked both using all conventional methods. Although, the hot forging should be done under 2100 and 2250 Degree F with quality control by keeping care that temperature should not fall below 1800 Degree F. Post-annealing should be carried by heating the above material at the temperature range from 1725-18050 Degree F for up to 30 minutes per inches of thickness and completion with rapid cooling methods.
Alloy 20 also performs suitable welding, done through MIG, TIG, and SAW, which stands for submerged arc welding using matching filler material, generally ER320LR for TIG and MIG. For SAW, the filler material is E320LR.
